Trustee Programme

Our Trustee programme is part of our Leading in Leicester and Leicestershire and Reaching People project. To be eligible to take part you must be based in Leicestershire and work in the local Voluntary, Community or Social Enterprise sector as a Board Member. We are pleased to be working alongside The Tavistock Institute to bring you a programme aimed at Trustee teams. This programme is suited to both new and established Trustee teams and will help you reflect on your current ways of working, what works well, and identify and support with areas for development. You will also have the opportunity to meet others in similar roles through our workshops and the option for a more personalised experience through our bespoke interventions.

Monthly Workshops

Our workshops will run a monthly basis; at present we have 6 workshops available, dates to be confirmed. This is a great opportunity to meet other Trustees and expand your network whilst reflecting on your own leadership style and impact as a team and individual. Board members are key to aligning vision and purpose, and demonstrating authentic leadership to create a positive organisational culture. Great leadership not only motivates the people within the organisation, but also impacts those that use the organisations services. To achieve growth and a more sustainable organisation we need to reflect, re-evaluate and realign with our vision, our people, and our goals to achieve the results we need. This is a great opportunity for development, reflection or re-discovery based on where you are on your leadership journey. Bookings will be via Eventbrite once workshops go live – dates and times for monthly workshops can be found at the bottom of this page.

Bespoke Interventions

If you are interested in a 1-to-1 experience for your organisation, we offer bespoke support as listed below. Our aim is to help you create an environment of trust, mutual respect, and one of sharing and learning together.  For new teams we will aid in identifying and supporting your team strengths, areas for development and how this can impact team dynamics. For established teams these interventions are great for reflecting on how you operate as a team, and how to move your team and organisation forward through reflection, alignment and utilising your board dynamics. You will be assigned a Coach/Facilitator that will support you through the programme

Please note: there is a cost associated with the bespoke offerings; the cost is based on a sliding scale depending on your organisations turnover along with a discount for Reaching People Members.

Our programme is Lottery Funded and this is the reason we are able to offer elements of our programme for free or at a discounted rate. For evaluation purposes you will be asked to provide feedback so that we can not only make improvements to future offerings but to also measure the impact of the programmes we run as part of the Leading in Leicester and Leicestershire Project.
